Buk missile system - MH 17

Buk missile system is developed by Russian Federation. It is a medium range surface to air missile system and also self propelled. It also has a Naval version.  its range is 87 mile and altitude is 60 M. Development of this system was started in year 1990. Initial operational Buk M3 systems were delivered to the Russian Army in the year 2016. It is planned that it will replace the older Buk systems. A Buk M3 TELAR vehicle is fitted with radar, missile erector and launcher, and has friend or foe identification system. It has third generation phase array of fire control. Fire control system is a system by which we can control weapon automatically. 

It is suspect that MH -17 mishap was done by this missile system.
