Can the Virus live in Jacket ?

The flood of information coming out about Covid-19 right now can feel overwhelming new Canadian cases are being reported every day new rules and recommendations are being put into place to slow the spread of this coronavirus. When we asked the question “How socially distant do I need to be should I stay home whenever possible?”

Dr Sameer Gupta associate professor at the university of Toronto replied that “I think you know if people are quarantined and they're confined to their homes by definition what I would say now is that if you're not quarantined you should act as though you are court TV so we really are encouraging people to stay home and avoid all contacts and that means even contact with family just stay with the people that are in your immediate home and don't expose yourself to anybody outside of that if you don't have to.”

And it is also getting risky for people to gather in a place because the virus spreading very quickly. Mainly all the people needs to be more aware that the virus may transmit pre symptomatically which means before they develop symptoms and in some cases symptomatically. So the person may spread the virus without even being sick and so it is absolutely essential to go into self isolation

If by any chance a person catches Covid-19, the symptoms of this are really the same symptoms anyone gets with the common cold, so people will get sore throat. They might get a runny nose, fevers, body aches; they can get a cough the sort of  red flag which indicates the person has Covid-19 and it is now more serious if the person feels any shortness of breath. Unfortunately, it is also flu season and it is a time of year where people are still catching a lot of colds so it is very hard to make that distinction in an ideal. The best way to get assured is to get tested.

The virus can also stick to surfaces such as your jacket for example and might stay there for hours. It is really important to disinfect it as soon as possible otherwise the possibility of the virus to spread is more.

Experts say that the virus will not gone within days or weeks. It may take months but whenever that normal comes, it will a new normal. Probably all will be bearing some scars from this disease.
