Radziwill Castle is a magnificent Gothic-Renaissance

 Radziwill Castle is a magnificent Gothic-Renaissance castle, one of the most beautiful in Belarus. Although Radziwill Castle has not been inhabited since the Second World War, it still attracts many visitors from all around the world with its picturesque location and unique architecture. The castle was built in Nesvizh in the 17th century by Prince Janusz Ostrogski and has been owned by the Radziwill family since 1634. It is a cultural landmark protected by UNESCO and one of Belarus’s national treasures. 

Belarusian architect Mikalai Rudoshenko built Radziwill castle in 1624. The east European country has a rich history with many impressive castles and fortresses; it's no surprise that it is often called "the land of 1,000 castles". This castle was unique because it was not only the residence of the Radziwill family but also served as a fortified stronghold. The Radziwill family is one of Belarus’s oldest noble families who have resided in Nesvizh for five centuries. 

Radziwill castle is a manor house in Belarus. It was built in 18th century by the Polish nobleman Stanisław Radziwiłł. The grounds were used for the residence of his descendants, until 1920. 

The castle consists of three parts: the Upper Castle, where are situated the living quarters and ceremonial rooms; the Lower Castle, which housed service quarters and warehouses; and finally, the Cellar Castle. The castle's design was influenced by Jules Hardouin-Mansart's Château de Marly and Louis Le Vau's Château de Versailles. The architectural style is Baroque with rococo elements.

Radziwill Castle is a castle in Nesvizh, Belarus. The Radziwill family was a Polish noble family that owned the castle for more than a hundred years. The owner at the time of World War II, Prince Antoni Stanislaw Radziwill, saved over one thousand Jews from Holocaust during World War II by providing them with passports and visas to escape to Argentina. After the war he sold the estate and moved to France. The castle now belongs to the state and it has undergone many reconstructions since then. Radziwill Castle is an example of Polish-Lithuanian Gothic architectural style with some Renaissance elements mixed in here and there. It’s also considered as one of Poland best castle. 

 Radziwiłł is a Polish princely family of nobility. Its members belonged to the nobility of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and later the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, until most of them were killed in 1648 in what is known as the "Radziwill Conspiracy". They are one of the most illustrious magnate families in Poland and Lithuania.  The Radziwiłłs were a family that originally came from Raudenia (German: Rathen), a territory on the south-east border of East Prussia, an area which became part of Russia in 1945. The founder of the family was Mikołaj Radziwiłł, who received his title from King John III.
